Vintage: Russian Dolls - RESERVED

These ten miniature dolls were individually hand made, possibly in the 1920's. They were given to me a few years ago by an elderly friend. She told me they'd been hers when she was a young girl living in Russia and that her uncle, a toy maker, made them for her. My friend was 102 years old when she passed away earlier this year.

VINTAGE

It seems Vintage is becoming increasingly popular these days, so while I'm between promoting this shop, getting the new Little Silver Fox jewelry shop up and making new things, I'll be listing some vintage items. The first is a beautiful, soft, warm lightly quilted silk or satin smoking jacket. It is reversible with nice deep pockets on either side. I'll post photo's as soon as they're ready. This piece can be worn as a jacket over an evening dress, or at  a party over a cool shirt and trousers. Also sson to be listed are Vintage miniature Russian dolls, circa 1920's, and some of my own OOAK Artists doll house dolls made in the 1990's.
